Welcome back to the Corrosive Challenge Design Team. This month we have two sponsors, Mirtillamente and Fabrika Fantasy. I want to start off by saying I hope to not offend anyone and for those who are easily offended you may not want to scroll to the image.
I have chosen So’ Getta F*ck by Mirtillamente. She just seemed to fit me well. I’m sassy and classy all in one and some days I just want to tell the world how we feel. My art is my outlet. I often feel people hold back on public forms when it comes to sharing certain content for fear of offending others or loosing followers. I personally do not wish to offend anyone who follows me and feel those who do follow me will understand me. Plus, we all have those friends we need a good humor card for.
With the above being said this card was fairly easy to create. Once I had my digital image downloaded, I scaled it to the size I wanted and printed it out on mixed media paper. From there I colored my lady with Copic markers and allowed her to dry before cutting her out with an X-Acto knife. While waiting for her to dry I found a leftover scrap of bright yellow card stock and embossed it. To give the yellow embossed cardstock some more dimension and to tone done the yellow some I ran a black ink pad over the top. This blackened the raised embossments and gave the card the life it needed.
Once all my elements were dry, I tied a black ribbon around the yellow layer then glued the yellow layer to the black base. Using double side foam adhesive strips, I adhered my lady to the card front. Next, I hand wrote a sentiment and cut it out and adhered it with the foam adhesive too.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
