I love a good challenge that gets your creative juices flowing.Today I present a challenge that Jeanie Hays shared on the Washi Horse Design facebook page. She was inspired by other creative crafter. I excepted her challenge of being inspired by the photo below and kicked it up a notch. Instead of creating one card, I took my scraps from the first card and created two more. The images I used on these two cards were already laying on my desk in my scrap pile.

To create the first card I took 6 12×12 sheets of printed paper matching the color scheme in the challenge. I then cut it down to have 6 4.25×5.5 pieces reserving the remainder paper for future projects. (plenty of leftover) Punching a hole in the top left corner and adding a brad to hold the papers in place to allow me to fan them out and get them to lay nicely while making adjustments. From there I applied a small glue dot in between each layer to prevent them from sliding around while I cut them to a 4.25×5.5 piece. Once assembled I added the sentiment.

Using the cut off scraps and cutting out one more black 4.25×5.5 piece I played around with layering them for my second card. I did this same thing for my third card too.
Thanks for stopping in today.
