I’ve got you covered… we all need someone to have our back at times.
To create this month’s Corrosive Blog Challenge card, I picked TP Puppy designed by Ikes Art.
One look at this digital image and I know I had to pick it. This image can become universal for multiple occasions simply by changing up the sentiment. To purchase this image please click here.
After down loading my image, I sized it to 4.75”x 3.75 and printed it out on 60lb cardstock. Using warm tones of Copic markers I colored him up. Then trimmed my card stock to 5” x 3 7/8”. Using scraps from my scrap box I trimmed down a black card stock to 5.25”x 4” and a stripped card stock to 5.5”x4.25”. Once I had all the layers glues together, I created my sentiment by using individual letter stamps and a white scrap piece of card stock. After inking around the edges with black ink I used pop dots to adhere the sentiment to my card.
This card was a quick card to make. It only took roughly an hour to put together and will now brighten the day of another.
Thank you for stopping by to see this month’s Corrosive Challenge design team card.
And some scraps – Always use your scraps. They make the cutest cards.
