At some point in our lives we all need some inspiration and a little pick me up.
Using stamps from Sassy & Crafty I created this card. To start off I stamped various words in white ink on a 4.25×5.5” white sheet of cardstock. Next using clear embossing powder, I embossed the words.
Once the embossing cooled, I use 2 different distressed oxide inks and 2 distressed ink. To blend my back ground. I started out with crackling campfire in the center and then added fired brick blending the two colors into each other. Next I added some black soot distressed oxide and to finish the edges I used some black soot distressed ink.
For the sentiment I stamped the words in white on black cardstock. I stamped them a couple times to get the white to really stand out. To set the white ink I used my heat gun.
Feeling the card needed a little more I decided to add this little bear image and colored him with copic markers.
To assemble the card, I glued my backgound to a heavy stock card base. Then I glued the sentiments down. Using glue and pop dots I adhered the bear. On images I often like to adhere the feet / bottom area with tombow glue and then use pop dots on the top half allowing the image to have more dimension.
