Day 5 – Stamp it with Stazon
Today I would not only like to feature my Unity stamps, but I’d also like to take you off the paper for stamping with Stazon ink to create amazing gifts. Stazon ink is a permanent ink that you can use to stamp on various items, and once sets it won’t smear or wash off. Pictured below, I used Stazon to stamp on shrink paper and then colored in my stamped image with Sharpie markers and shrunk according to the directions on the package. Using the images I colored and shrunk to create wine glass charms, necklaces, and shaker card pieces.
I also used stazon to stamp on a clear block and a ceramic tile. For the clear block I used glass etching on the back to give it a frosted background, then placed my image on the front. I allowed the Stazon to sit overnight prior to coloring it with Sharpie makers. The tile was stamped with Stazon then heat set. To color this image I used alcohol inks and allowed it to set a few days prior to sealing it with a permanent clear coat.
