A simple way to let someone know you appreciate them is to send them a card, especially if they have gifted you with something.

Todays card is a simple, yet elegant Thank you card for a friend. To start this card off I cut down a sheet of red & a sheet of gray cardstock to (4) 4.25×5.5” pieces. I’m using one of each color on this card and will save the others for future cards
Next I took the red card stock and stamped sunflowers from the Shimmer & Shine Unity stamp set in VersaMark and in VersaFine Clair Glamorus red. While I had my sunflower stamps out, I stamped a sunflower on a piece of white card stock to color.

Using Spellbinders chicken wire die cut, created my layering piece to place over the red background sheet. At this time, I also die cut the words “Thank You” using Gina Marie Designs connected thank you sentiment.
Using Copic Marker I colored my sunflower. Once My sunflower was colored, I added some Wink of Stella to the center of the flower and to my sentiment.

Time to assemble: I carefully glued my gray chicken wire piece to the red background base. Using some twine, I wrapped it around the base a few times and glued it down on the backside. Next I adhered my background to a card base to help secure the twine more. Using pop dots, I popped up my sunflower and the Thank you sentiment and placed them on my card front.
